The Garden Flat Barcelona

Here are all of the comments that we have had so far either by email or in
our visitor's book which is on the sideboard as you come in. There are
some archived comments here. If you do decide to come and stay
with us , please leave your feedback with suggestions in the book so
that we can keep on improving the apartment. And please share any of
your favourite places in the city if you have time so that we can pass
the information onto our guests. 

We are building up a Barcelona Guide on the site from all of
the restaurants, parks and museums that our guests recommend (which has
been great for us too, as we have discovered a few new places that we
didn't know about so thanks for that!)

Just wanted to drop you a quick e-mail to say we had an absolutely fantastic time in Barcelona and your flat was amazing.  We met Lynda (who was great) who showed us round the flat which was just so spacious and gorgeous.  

We absolutely fell in love with the tiled floors and wooden shutters and it had everything and more that we needed.  The kids DVD's and toys were brilliant and the cool, dark bedrooms meant that they slept really well and we all got plenty of lie-ins,bliss! (toy shop was a big hit as well, I wish we had those in England, some great products!)

The apartment exceeded expectations, nicer than the excellent website!
Superb location, used 10x Metro/bus tickets- great value. Personal highlight was cycle tour from barcelonabybike.com & Audres the excellent guide. A wonderful way to see lots of interesting & hidden Barcelona whilst getting rosy cheeks.
Enjoyed all the Modernista sites, all the Gaudi including the Sagrada Familia despite the unnecessary queues.
Shopping, eating and getting around is a doddle when you are in good hands, I was on a birthday treat as a jubilado & enjoyed every minute.
Linda was efficient & helpful, baby care was well provided in the apartment, Samsung OK one tuned by me (f.o.c.) [sorry about that! Spain just changed over to Digital and we didn't have time to reset the telly, but thankyou for tuning it for us! Gideon & Rachel] & Bob The Builder must be worn out by now.
For years I have mused about what life must be like behind those elegant facades on Barcelona's carrers & avenidas - now I know!
We all want to return soon one day, it has been excellent to celebrate here as a family. D.W., D.R. & P.

The H. Family
I had a great time in Barcelona. The beach was my favourite place and Moon was my favourite restaurant. -Chloe

I liked Barcelona.My favourite place was the beach, the favourite street was 'the Ramblas'. -Daniel

I loved having my birthday at Barcelona becuase we went to the beach. - Jack.

Was so looking forward to this holiday and it didn't disappoint. Loved the flat, loved Barcelona. The best bits for me were the Pedrera, Park Guell & the Ramblas. The human statues were fun! Barcelona is definitely a city to which I hope to return one day :)
