2009 comments from our Guest Book in the flat.
We had the most fantastic time in Barcelona. We loved your flat- it was so central we actually walked most places!
The supermarket we think does house deliveries- worth checking out.
Restaurants we really like: El Raco (card in drawer) and Trobador (card in draw).
Did lots of shopping (some really good shops)!
We did the tour bus and it was worthwhile. We did Park Guell and that was great. Great apartment!
Our two weeks here were absolutely amazing! The 3 bedrooms meant that none of us felt cramped at all. The flat felt like a real home to come back to after a day out in the city.
Sagrada Familia, Park Guell & Casa Batllo’ are absolute must-dos and the Barcelona Bus Turistic is a good way to get an orientation of the city.
Poble Espanyol is not one of the main tourist sites but that’s a great place to get some quiet time- wandering about and seeing buildings representing all the regions of Spain. A day trip to Montserrat is definitely on the must-do list as well. Oh and the Sitges beach is fantabulous.
Am amazing restaurant called Igueldo is right around the corner. But even more amazing is Santa Maria (Comerç17), a little further away.
The metro station being just half a block away was a huge blessing as was our proximity to Passeig de Gracia & Placa Catalunya.
Everything from the garden to the comfy beds to the DVD collection was wonderful, so thank you so much for one of our best family holidays ever in one of the most fantastic cities in the world.

Thanks so much, I can honestly say we were all bowled over by the flat,
even better than the photos in real life! Location is fantastic too -
really was perfect, made our holiday all the more of a pleasure. Don’t be surprised if you get another booking from us about this time next year!
Many thanks again, and thanks for the deposit return, got an email receipt through
Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely flat. Cool, spacious and convenient. We discovered a great tapas bar around the corner- Bodeguita Provenca- delicious food and full of Spanish but with English-speaking staff who are charming.
Loved how close the “La Pedrera” was and loved even more how close the fabulous Avenue Diagonal shopping was!
Taxis were easy to call just out in the street.
We’ll tell our friends about this little gem of a flat.

p.s. more mirrors in the bedrooms and more waste baskets in the bathrooms would be a good idea!!
thanks we had a great time and will be back again soon! Many thanks the flat is fab
We had the most fantastic time, returning to one of our favourite cities with our 4 girls- your flat is absolutely fabulous, a wonderful oasis of calm right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. You have done an amazing job in renovating it, and it was a real bonus having the garden to sit in, and for the kids to let off a bit of steam!
Having the metro on our doorstep meant that getting around wasn’t a hassle and we felt very safe at night, wandering around and trying out the various tapas bars.
Cervezeria Catalana- (C/ Mallorca, corner of Ramblas de Catalunya). Great tapas- frequented mostly by Spaniards.
Por Sant- for breakfast- on the corner.
Tibidabo, Monjuic, Born, Parc Juan Miro (with its “Lady Bird” sculpture, massive playground and best of all, a chiringuito to have a beer in whilst the kids dissappear for a while!)
The zoo- not worth it, – v. tired and animals don’t look too happy!
Parc Ciutadella v. pretty though-
Thanks so much for a wonderful stay- we will most definitely be returning!!
