The one thing we miss (or rather we missed) about living in Catalunya over London, was a good curry.
So imagine our delight, when we discovered this restaurant which serves fantastic Indian food- in Eixample! Now I know you probably won´t be travelling to Barcelona to have a curry, but just in case you feel like one (they also do take-outs), we have no hesitation in recommending Khana. It´s not the cheapest Indian restaurant we have been to, but the food is delicious and worth every penny, or centimo should we say.
The restaurant is on Calle Casanova in Eixample, about a 15 minute walk away from the flat (or a short taxi ride which will cost you around €5).
It has a lavishly decorated interior, big steel doors, and you´ll sit in private booths behind silk tapestry.
The restaurant boasts more than 30 authentic chicken, lamb and prawn curries prepared by the Punjabi chef. They also offer a good selection of Biryanis, tandoor-baked chicken and vegetarian dishes.
